Andy

Andy MacHugh

Managing Director

Andy MacHugh is the Managing Director of All Aspex Group and has been at the helm of the business for over 30 years. With a career spanning more than three decades in project management for the design and construction of office and educational environments, Andy brings a wealth of experience and a hands-on approach to every project.

Under Andy’s leadership, All Aspex has built a reputation for delivering innovative design, interior fit-out, and consultancy services across commercial, retail, educational, and public sectors. His expertise lies in guiding complex projects from concept to completion, ensuring that clients receive high-quality, cost-effective solutions tailored to their needs.

Andy’s commitment to excellence and collaborative working has seen All Aspex successfully complete projects throughout the UK and internationally, including Paris, Brussels, Gibraltar, and Dubai. His focus on client relationships and attention to detail ensures that every project reflects the company’s ethos: “Concept to Reality – delivered on time, every time.”

When Andy isn’t overseeing major projects, he is passionate about supporting industry partnerships and mentoring his team to uphold the highest standards of service and craftsmanship.

Ryan Tracey

Project Manager

Ryan is a confident project professional with a wealth of construction knowledge and a reputation for tailored, client specific delivery.

Before stepping into project management, he built deep on site experience liaising with site managers, supervising trades, and coordinating materials and schedules—skills that now underpin his planning discipline and day to day risk control. He also brings strong document control practice from earlier roles, giving clients transparency and cost certainty throughout the build.

A graduate in Construction from the University of Brighton, Ryan partners closely with design and technical teams to turn briefs into effective solutions for office and educational environments.

Known for his proactive communication and drive to improve productivity, he continually looks for smarter ways to sequence works, streamline information flow, and enhance customer service—so projects land cleanly at handover and teams can hit the ground running.

Charlie Fanning

Project Manager

Since joining All Aspex in 2013, Charlie has leveraged a rare mix of IT network design, implementation, and facilities management to strengthen how projects are planned, sequenced and delivered. Previously a Director within a client organisation, he understands the pressures on in house teams and tailors programmes to minimise disruption while safeguarding productivity and business continuity.

As a Project Manager at All Aspex, Charlie oversees refurbishment and fit out projects from early brief to handover, coordinating trades, logistics and quality control, and ensuring information flows cleanly between facilities, design and technology stakeholders. His approach mirrors the firm’s “concept to reality” ethos—clear communication, pragmatic problem solving, and attention to detail that keeps time, cost and quality on track.

Outside work, Charlie is a keen golfer and snowboarder—and a not so keen (but improving!) mountain biker.

Neil MacHugh

Senior Project Manager

Neil’s journey began in 1989 with Paramount in Croydon, followed by roles at London based dealerships. In 1996, he joined his brother at All Aspex to develop the furniture arm and—recognising the natural overlap with fit out—helped integrate furniture, construction and logistics into a cohesive delivery model. That evolution enabled All Aspex to offer complete solutions to facilities teams, first across the South and soon nationwide.

As Senior Project Manager, Neil oversees refurbishment and fit out programmes from pre start to handover, aligning design, procurement and site operations, and keeping programmes, costs and quality tightly controlled. He’s AutoCAD proficient for space planning and layout optimisation, and partners closely with clients to ensure the end result supports people, technology and business continuity.

Sector experience includes telecoms (e.g., Vodafone), education (local schools and colleges), and public/international bodies such as High Commissions and Embassies. Neil continually refreshes his Health & Safety knowledge—First Aid, Fire Warden, Asbestos Awareness, Legionella Awareness and more—so projects are delivered safely and compliantly. After three decades, his motivation remains simple: do the job properly and hand over a workplace teams are proud to use.

Andy MacHugh

Aspex owner Andy values his team like family, to the extent that his daughter, brother, and nephew all work for the company. Andy’s wife also works for Aspex as the Company Secretary.

2025 was a proud year for Andy, as he surpassed the £4 million mark for the first time in twenty-nine years.

Andy is an enthusiastic rugby fan, travelling as far as Australia to watch the World Cup. He played rugby into his late 50s, taking part in a charity match in 2013 at Welford Road, the home of Leicester Tigers. There, four former England men’s captains were on the pitch at the same time, which was a real ‘pinch me’ moment for Andy.

Charlie began his journey at Aspex as a client. Fifteen years later, he is now a proud Project Manager for the company.

Charlie offers loyalty, a strong work ethic, and aims to apply honesty and fairness during his work.

Ryan has been with Aspex since the age of seventeen! Starting as a labourer, he is now an experienced Project Manager.

Ryan’s proudest project at Aspex: Hawks Nest, London, was the main contractor for the largest retractable glass roof installation in the UK.

A connection to rugby, Aspex sponsored Ryan’s school rugby team – and still holds a love for the sport. Ryan had a ‘15 minutes of fame’ moment, appearing as an extra in EastEnders and Casualty!

Andy’s brother Neil is a long-standing member. As Project Manager, Neil has been with Aspex since September 1998.

Neil’s work ethic hopefully speaks for itself. Starting work at fifteen, he has never been unemployed. Neil considers himself loyal, committed, and dedicated.

At twelve years old, Neil won a donkey Derby race, earning a ribbon. The prize was presented by the Mayor of Merton himself. Now, as an adult, Neil loves to travel to new parts of the globe and experience new cultures.

Having joined a Croydon based Company in 1989 ( Paramount ) selling office furniture, worked for some other London based dealerships before joining my brother in 1996 to help develop the furniture arm of Aspex.

Aspex was working in the fit out side of the Industry so it was a natural fit to start merging the two sides and even look at logistics. Soon we were offering a complete solution to facilities teams across the Southern area and progressed to working Nation wide. I have worked with many sectors such as telecoms with Vodafone, Educational with many local schools and Colleges and even worked with High Commissions and Embassies. During my time working within this industry as a Project Manager,I have learned to use auto CAD to assist with space planning and design and have kept up with our Health & safety side with continuous courses on First Aid, Fire Warden, Asbestos awareness, Legionella’s awareness and many more. I am still enjoying working in this Industry and delivering projects to satisfied clients.
